My question to CHC die hard members, "Which couple characters in the Bible are closest to describe Pastor Kong and Pastor Sun?"
Is it Joseph and Maria who is persecuted for carrying divine holy seed, but obediently follow God's calling and fulfilling their destiny? In this story the wife is the chosen one, the angel come to speak to her and the prophet also confirm her calling. But can it be this one? Joseph and Maria really has to suffer to flee to Egypt for many years which is so unlikely similar to Hollywood, I am sure you watch TV too, so you must be aware of what level of amenities available in the strange land.
Or is it Samson and Delilah where in this story the husband is the chosen one, he started strong and mightily but then everything has to come in a sad ending.
Or Ananias and Sapphira where the same main issue is money? This is also has a sad ending where our merciful Lord himself is angry. (And this story is in New Testament! The part where God is hardly written being angry with anyone.)
Or is it Abraham and Sarah where in the story God bless them with ever growing wealth and they also travel a lot. But this couple may not really resemble Pastor Kong and Pastor Sun cause the huge difference is while Abraham waited on God divine intervention for 25 years to become father of nations, Pastor Kong has all the conveniences to make it happen without any divine favour.
Or is it Adam and Eve that destined to complete each other? But this one is also not quite fit in as this couple cover themselves with sewn leaves and when into hiding when they realise that they are naked, while Pastor Sun do the opposite.
Or is it Joseph and Rachel where Joseph has to work so many years to prove his love to his wife?
