KUALA LUMPUR - Police are investigating a prominent VIP for allegedly "supplying" girls from a local institution of higher learning to other VIPs.
Sources said Negri Sembilan anti-vice, secret society and gaming division officers were looking into the allegations following a report lodged at the Brickfields police headquarters on Saturday.
The case was forwarded to Negri Sembilan yesterday as the institution was located there.
In his report, the complainant claimed he received a letter on Wednesday in Ipoh from a victim.
The report stated that the VIP, with the title Datuk, rented a house in Gombak for the purpose of housing female students of the institution.
He allegedly sent them to hotels and to other "Datuks and Tan Sris" for prostitution. The datuk was also alleged to be involved in drug trafficking and "encouraged" gangsterism.
