Chinese lifestyle retailer KKV has kicked off its Singapore expansion with a new store at Tiong Bahru Plaza, the first of 10 planned locations set to open across the city-state this year.
To support the rollout, the company is partnering with property groups, including CapitaLand and Frasers Property, to secure sites in key retail and commercial precincts.
The Singapore launch extends KKV’s presence in Southeast Asia, where it already operates in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The retailer is part of KK Group, which also owns beauty concept The Colorist and toy brand X11.
Across its brands, KK Group manages more than 1000 stores in six countries, driven by the vision to “Live without Boundaries.”
KKV’s Tiong Bahru store offers a curated selection of more than 20,000 SKUs across eight categories, including toys, homeware, daily essentials, and cosmetics.
Designed for younger shoppers, the store features a bright yellow container-style façade and colour-coded shelving to enhance in-store discovery and shareability.
According to the store’s early sales data, Gen Z customers in Singapore have gravitated towards trendy toys, snacks, and household essentials.
“As a globally leading trend retail brand, KKV respects every individual,” said Rojen Wu, COO of KK Group’s international business. “We hope that in KKV, everyone can find products they love and express their lifestyle attitude.”
