King of fried rice goes from 40 outlets to 37! Is this the beginning of its slow slide to the end?

Maybe i should start satay outlets.
There is a rumour that to keep customers coming back for more, satay hawkers went to great lengths to spice up their gravy practicing black magic rituals with added ingredients like soiled underwear and sanitary napkins. Syed, please do not do that if you ever open a satay stall.

Once he loses the economies of scale, it’s just a matter of time. Fried rice leh, it’s not exactly a food you can eat daily.
Fried rice is a dish that is easily replicated at home. My Indonesian maid does it very well in several varieties like with char siew, prawns, fish cake and eggs or with anchovies, dried shrimp, crab meat, luncheon meat or minced beef.
