This guy started out funny but got kind of killed off when Lan jio long praised him during one of the National Day speeches. After that, people didn't find him funny anymore.... Any comedian that is being praised by pinky is like kenna the kiss of death. Just saying...

I think he got co-opted. I remember Loong once invited many local 'Internet personalities' for a meeting. The willing ones got 招安'ed, the reluctant ones saw it as a thinly veiled threat and got the message.
