Anyway, you should have expected this when Lee Hsien Loong bragged about a 'revamped' Jurong Lake District at the National Day Rally 2014. There were even published blueprints of waterfront hotels in the region.

One thing is for sure... you can kiss goodbye to the peace and tranquility in the Chinese/Japanese Garden.

I will happily vote the pAp next election for acquiring JCC. Such a lot of land used by so few people and mainly those highly paid JTC employees.
