Jitpai game over for Nvidia, Chinese GPUs outdo Nvidia chips nearly tenfold

Unfair to compare super computers with commercial GPUs.

Also, you can always build a super powerful processing unit. But whether you can mass produce them at a commercially viable price is the real challenge

In other words, Nvidia GPU design is very good de can touch super computers performance level

Anyway, If China GPU so powerful, it should have flood Sim Lim Square years ago

Sometime you listen to 墙国 propaganda 。You listen to 1/4 of it. Their deep seek so good and cheap. All the commotion died down Liao. Their chip so good blah blah......

Why is it not commercially viable?
China is very good with their production...

AMDK is spending billions is not for deepsake or OpenAI only. These are public or commercial app that they can discuss openly

What is interesting is always the insiders whispering inside the technical forums

I am going to China for holidays and eat all The scrumptious halal fare they got.

If China GPU so good, AMDK should be smuggling them to Beekok mah, not the other way round, right?

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has hailed Malaysia’s collaboration with British multinational semiconductor company Arm Holdings as the “start of the second semiconductor wave” in the country.

Anwar today said Putrajaya’s partnership with Arm will allow it to conceive one of the most ambitious technological plans the country has ever seen – to pioneer ‘Made by Malaysia’ AI chips.

“These chips will be designed, manufactured, tested and assembled here, and sold to the rest of the world,” he said in his speech at a memorandum of understanding and contract signing ceremony at a hotel here.

“This marks a fundamental shift in our approach to semiconductors and technology that will define our future.

“The day where Malaysia embarks on the second semiconductor wave is finally here.”

Apart from offering state-of-the-art technologies that cover all parts of semiconductor design, Arm is also establishing its first Asean office in Kuala Lumpur.

Anwar added that Arm’s foray into Malaysia is in line with the country’s National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS), which was launched last year and is aimed at elevating Malaysia beyond a production hub to become a leader in high-value semiconductor activities.
