“‘Jihad is a positive word, it means revolution,’ says Congress leader Garima; BJP reacts,
While talking about Uttarakhand government’s action against “illegal” madrassas, Congress leader Garima Mehra Dasauni claimed that the word “illegal” is being misused just like “jihad”. “Jihad is a positive term; if translated, it means ‘revolution’ or ‘change for the better’,” she said. Reacting to this, BJP leader Kuldeep Rawat said, “Do you consider terrorism to be a positive thing?”
