Japanese TikTok users are being demonetised.

Many Japanese users of Tiktok are waking up to find their accounts suddenly demonetised .

There have also been widespread reports that Japanese accounts were being throttled by the algorithm on Tiktok, since the diplomatic row over Taiwan began.

Many are suggesting this is happening on purpose fuelling speculation of targeted retaliation by bytedance possibly at the request of the CCP

This latest move by China only makes it more obvious that Tiktok is Chinese spyware

I still need my Wechat to communicate with ATBs. It's their go-to chat app.

The others you can easily do without. Unless you go to Tiongland, then you need Didi to get a taxi, and you need either Wechat or Alipay to pay for stuff. And maybe Amap, because Google Maps (and everything Google) does not work in Tiongland.
