the new age religion which used to be called NICHIREN SHOSHU BUDDHISM is now called simply SOKA.
it's strange - and not explained till today - why this form of buddhism isn't accepted by the buddhist federation. perhaps we should go back to history to find out how this religion was first founded about 1832 by a self-professed japanese monk called nichiren daishonin. he claimed himself to be the "new budhha" and focused the belief on one of the buddhist sutra, the lotus sutra or mio fa lian hua jin.
