Many self proclaimed experts have been busy offering their analysis on Cambodia vs Thailand feud. All the discussions about 1:50000 map vs 1:200000 map, Who fired the first shot, Were the land mines old or new, etc. These are not the real reasons.

With Lord Elrond's 5000 years of knowledge in humanity, let me enlighten you.

Reason no 1: Hun Sen was very unhappy that the oil stakes in Koh Kod promised to him has hit snag. It is suspected Thaksin might have privately agreed to this while sheltering in Hun Sen's house. The phone leak has made this impossible as it stirs up nationalist sentiments and paralysed the Shinawatras.

Reason no 2: Hun Sen was very unhappy about Thailand's Plan to build casinos. This is one of Cambodias main income. Hun Sen has a stake in every business in Cambodia like the former Madam 5% of Indonesia, so this hurts his own pocket. Basically, he feels that the Shinawatras are not delivering all the promises made to him and even hurting his pocket.

Reason no 3: Hun Sen and his dynasty is facing dwindling support back home after ruling Cambodia for 4 decades and fleecing the country of its wealth while Cambodians live in poverty. Hun Sen is like the senior Marcos. You can fuck a young Cambodian girl for $20. In particular, he does not trust some factions of the Cambodian military. What other way to get rid of these internal threat than send them to be bombed by Thai fighter jets. More Importantly, like all dictators, he needs to create an external threat so that the country will stay "united" under his dynasty. This ensures his grip on power is strengthened.

Reason no 4: Thai government, under Chinese pressure, has been clamping down on the scam syndicates. The investigations within Thailand is leading to the source in Scambodia - where the largest scam syndicates operate from. PnomPenh cannot become the world no 1 Scam City without Hun Sen having a share. Strongman Hun Sen is the godfather who has a stake in every profitable business in Cambodia.

All that is happening in Thailand, as well as Hun Sen's internal troubles, lead Hun Sen to unleash his war option. He needs a war to stop everything that is moving against his interest.

Anyone who tells you anything without these 4 points are completely missing it.

Who really owns the casinos in Cambodia?

And Hun Sen is whose doggie?

No need to think too complicated.

XiDaDa will burn any casinos if he can. Macau is allowed to operate for legacy reasons because no casinos, no Macau. I know you hate China but that does not automatically grant China stakes in Cambodian casinos.

Much as I dislike Hun Sen, he is Strongman Hun Sen and nobody's doggie. China is building the canal in Cambodia and has investments in Cambodia, but no less in Thailand. China will be the one to stop the war.

Many in SEAsia are concerned with the recent border clashes between Cambodia and Thailand, and rightfully so, as many lives, hopes, trade and aspirations within peaceful SEAsia will be affected should it becomes an all out war between the both, with many innocent lives lost....

1. The cause of the border clashes were mostly over TERRITORY. For centuries, both sides had never agreed upon any territorial maps drawn up by others during even the colonial era by France. The biggest concern was over the Buddhist Preah Vihear temple

2. Both sides finally agreed to seek ICJ for judicial judgement. The temple was built on Cambodian land, but the lands beyond the ancient temple belongs to Thailand.

Thing is - (( Preah Vihear temple was built in the 9th century, not necessarily by Cambodia or Cambodian citizens which did not exists as a State back then, but by ancient religious Asians ancestors sharing that plot of land and for sure, 100% guaranteed, NOT built by the recent BESTIAL Khmer Rouge whom stole an ancient name and claimed it as theirs))

3. Cambodia is largely a communist State. It had its roots in this modern era as being ravaged by the monstrous, atrocious barbaric Khmer Rouge. which even the present titular leader Hun Sen once belonged to, until he switched sides to the Vietnamese Communists and won leadership. Communists DO not believe in religion, and calls it an opiate of Humankind.....

..thus strange that Cambodia would fight over a Buddhist temple... or was it because of the tourism revenue generated as many, many Buddhist would pay homage to such sites, and political ego over a mere plot of land that justifies the KILLINGS of innocents?

4. Cambodia had been a failed state after the Khmer Rouge took over, killing its own elites and leaders, and lead by barbaric morons with aboriginal mentality, even today after its so - called Democracy.....The economy had long been mis-managed, its leaders never upgraded but still believed that Might and BULLYING/Scamming others is RIGHT upon even its own naive, little opportunity and docile citizens, let alone any foreign Human even from China, and thus its infantile mental baby leaders - from politicians, biz leaders and military, are dependent upon China, whom will not miss any opportunity to seize and use any failed State thru checkbook policies, learnt from Taiwan.

5. China does have the power to end the conflict. However, itself is mired in economic problems and stretched thin. A few missiles, a few boxes of ammo, etc would probably be what it can provide to Cambodia to prolong the war and sufferings of innocents to keep the Cambodian elites whom controls its naive and docile citizens in line for support to China.

Also, for a better judgement over territorial rights and an end to the border conflicts, it is up to Thailand on what LEVERAGE it has on China, to help China's economy,

What is personal love and lust, in the face of the many, so many innocents that only seeks to live and love, and to contribute to progress and evolve Humanity?.....

The main reason for clashes between Cambodia and Thailand is a complex issue, but some key factors include:
  • Territorial disputes: Disputes over the border, particularly the Preah Vihear temple area.
  • Historical conflicts: A long history of conflict, including wars and colonial era disputes dated by the 17th century.
  • Border skirmishes: Ongoing border clashes and skirmishes.

In that case the first cambodian soldier to die was a sacrifice to ignite the Khmer rage.
Surely Thai Intelligence or Thaksin would have briefed the daughter on this before she made the fatal call.
Relation with jiu hu was going very well with call for ECRL rail be extended to Golok when daughter was in charge. And expansion of Penang to haadyai express train.

Ish like HK洪典的水房secret societies rivalries, so much fighting on Main Street must be $$$$$$ related

Yet seasoned big bosses BOH tai Ji, is similar a “arranged” conflict to 5S the internal rivalries to keep the upper management in business :)

Same same every where even in MNC

HS.. LKY ... both same same... ruthless, greedy... each having a useless son taking over them..

1. It was reported that Malaysia - the current chair of ASEAN, would convene a meeting and act as mediator between Thailand and Cambodia to resolve the current border clashes between the two.

2. Let's get real, be practical and pragmatic. The meeting will only be a talkfest, and at worse, a figurative slap in the face to ASEAN chair PM Anwar, the way ex PM Lee HL of Singapore who held the ASEAN chair when he tried to nobly resolve the Myanmar issue decades ago.

Based upon ASEAN policies and directives, there is NOTHING it can do, even using positive engagement, as proven with the Myanmar issue today.

3. Nobility can only be used if all sides have principles of Nobility. Unfortunately, for sure, Cambodia has none, as it is ruled by a minority in power whom only seeks to perpetrate their wealth and power for eternity, at the expense of the Nation, its economy and its naive mostly limited educated citizens, neglected with every opportunity to rise.

There is NO strong middle class in Cambodia....Every position of power is held by the politicians, military and biz leaders, and by their progenies and prodigies whom are groomed and taught to obey and follow their commands.

Such is the sad state of Cambodia, amongst many more so called Nations on Earth such as N. Korea and African States which follows such policies and are proven basket cases, best left to the own devices till the citizens wakes up to realities and throw them out, as they are are the many, while the corrupted are few....

4. The solution to the Cambodia issue is - to hurt them where it hurts - the elites, whom presumed that they have CCP China's backing and billions of illegitimate funds safe in US and EU, and thinking that it is China that is in need of their support on the International Table. The realities are far different.

While under China's chequebook policies in supporting Cambodia, far too many China citizens are angry with Cambodia for supporting scammers in their land. Without bribes and support by the Cambodian elites and scammers, hundreds of millions of China citizens would not had lost their hard earned life savings....

Without support from China citizens, the CCP govt of China will become irrelevant...Thus the CCP China govt would have to know which side of their bread is buttered...

5. Ultimately, the land boundaries would need to be redrawn, to save innocent lives. What is mere plot of presumed holy land that communists would never need, not even built by them but only an eyesore to their principles on religion?

Is such worth the loss of power and billion$ in banks, not tariffs but TRADE SANCTIONS to the Cambodian elites by rest of Humankind?
