PRC women ruined Hong Kong women's image (dating foreigner for free )

It all started long, long ago when there was no Malaya nor Malaysia.

Melaka was the name. It was founded by Parameswara aka Iskandar Shah (no relation to the present royalty Iskandar of Johor). Parameswara was the last Raja of Temasik aka Singapura . (Father of PM Lee believed that a Singaporean could rule the Malay peninsula again - but may be not during his time. Sob, sob!). Melaka grew into a very important and busy port then - in the absence of PSA (Port of Singapore Authority) because Singapore was not founded by Stamford Raffles yet.

Melaka port was so well known that the legendary Admiral Cheng Ho - (not to be confused with our famous present-day Admiral CH Teo) - who sailed the Seven seas - had to make a must stop-over destination. The Ming Emperor of China wanted to enhance relationship with Melaka. So he psycho-ed his daughter - a princess by the name Hang Li Poh - with stories of an exotic land in the South Sea populated by chocolate-coloured people - he knew this particular daughter of his liked Ferrero Rocher and Van Houten.

You may ask, why would an Emperor want his own flesh and blood daughter to marry some strange native in a faraway land? Now, if you know about ancient emperors and their countless concubines and equally countless purportedly eunuchs, the Emperor would not discount the remote possibility that Hang Li Poh may not have his genes - in the absence of DNA test then! Historians continued to argue about this to this day.

Anyway, young Hang Li Poh was so enamoured by the stories that she agreed to take a holiday trip there. As an added travel incentive, the Emperor said he didn't mind if Li Poh fell in love with the native land and marry any one of the better known chocolate-coloured princes or royalties. The Emperor secretly hoped it could be one of the legendary warriors he heard from Admiral CH but he was taken aback when he discovered that his name was Hang Tuah.

Now you may ask why was he very disappointed. It was because both Hang Li Poh and Hang Tuah shared the same surname "Hang". In Chinese custom and tradition, it was forbidden to marry someone of the same surname. WTF, how would the Emperor know that someone not of the Chinese race living so far away in the South Seas also has the same surname! Since then the Emperor knew that he must declare the whole of South China Sea as belonging to China - inclusive of the tiny atolls called by whatever foreign-devil names "Scarborough", "Spratley" or "Paracel" or Pulau this and Pulau that - and the oil and gas and fish beneath the water as well!)

Back to the story. Since Princess Li Poh was looked after from head to toe by servants and eunuchs in the Palace since she was a child, the Emperor relented and agreed that she could bring along her servants and maids - since there was no Indon and Pinoy maids then.

The Emperor agreed to let Princess Hang Li Poh to have 500 servants to look after her then. Now, why would Hang Li Poh need so many servants, you may ask. Ah, the Emperor who was a disciple of Sun Tzu's Art of War, knew China was over-populated in the past as it is now in the present; it simply did not have the resources to support so many people. (Chairman Mao once offered to send 1 million PRCs to America, so what is one blind man?) Sending 500 Chinese there was a good strategy since there was no visa requirement for them to live in Melaka - and they can beome PRs or citizens thereafter marrying the locals. Moreover the chocolate-coloured people were also fascinated by the white-coloured fair mei meis from the North. So the Princess came - and instead of marrying Hang Tuah or another legendary warrior Hang Jebat - KNN both have the same surname - she had to find someone else!

Anyway the Princess had a better idea. Who to marry other than the grand Sultan himself - Sultan Mansur Shah - doesn't matter if the Sultan was much older and married four times already? Marrying a rich foreigner is in the blood of the Chinese - whether mass media Mogul, internet social media chief or even tobacco company CEOs! Smart Hang Li Poh! "Shrewd" some might say.

The rest of the story of course continues to this day.

Today, the PRCs are still attracted to the South Seas especially in modern Singapore. They came in great number when Stamford Raffles founded Singapore - and even greater number now. They came here to live, work and play. At first they live around the Keong Saik area in Chinatown, but later spread to as far as Geylang.

So you see, PRCs coming to Malaysia and Singapore is not something unusual or new. Many of our forefathers and foremothers originate from there. They made Singapore even more prosperous. Those who dislike these new migrants probably have not studied enough history to appreciate this, and unfairly blame their pragmatic government for it. Some wise people would say "History repeats itself".

With apologies to the historians in Malaysia. Today is cooling period for Hougang by-election. So no politics - but stories can. Very important - must have integrity - cannot bangsat and talk politics!
