It’s a disgrace to have TCH as one of our deputy prime minister. He is so childish to be one. Here’s my views personal views:
1) when he say about WP not fielding the best candidate, did he ever looked into his own ppl, is Miss Tin, Mr Lui among the best that they have? Some are clearly just simply hitching a ride as far as i’m concerned.
2) when he say it’s WP’s fault for the by-election, has he ever looked into how WP emphasized on their party member’s discipline? They dare to answer for consequences resulted from their member. They dare to sack irresponsible Members even though they are already lacking manpower compared to the PAP! What answer did PAP gave to our citizens after all those transport fare hike and breakdowns? Isn’t there a transport minister in placed? Why is he still holding his position? Can he justify his ridiculous pay that he is receiving?
3) when he question WP’s ability to make a diff for the hougang residents, anyone clear minded enough would have already know who’s actually holding power and DELAYING the upgrading plans. Just look at potong pasir. It’s just another disgraceful “hidden threat to demand for more tickets”.

This type of quality also can be DPM. Very childish way of politicking. Talk substance please. Personal attacks on opposition candidate are a dead sign of lack of ideas. You should talk about how Singaporeans’ lives can be improved – less immigrants, more jobs for singaporeans, etc. Should vote him out at the next 2016 GE – surely there must be better quality people out there

With regards to the comments by DPM Teo, my God! Is he for real?
Hougang must have the best man ah? Then what about Aljunied? What about Whampoa? What about Sengkang West? They also must have the best that PAP has to offer then right?
So how come, our PM, ESM and what-have-yous are not their MPs? By definition, there can only be one best and the PAP has also not sent their best to all consituencies. How to?
My Png is the best for Hougang under the circumstances, just like Ms Tin Pei Lin is the best for Marine Parade……..wait that doesn’t sound right.
Why go m&d-slinging again DPM Teo? I also remember the time when you made a thinly veiled potshot at Mr Chen Show Mao by saying that you are always skeptical of people who are charming.
Is the reason why you don’t instead debate on policies because you know your government’s policies are indefensible? Is it because you and your mates have not learnt what honour means?
As for policy flip flops, the Workers Party has had to choose between the lesser of 2 evils imposed by your corrupt government but their fundamental stance didn’t change. This has been explained to you but maybe it is inconvenient for you to remember.
Basically, you have only proven that you and the rest of the PAP are hypocrites with perpetual double standards, borne of a misplaced sense of entitlement.
I please you lah PAP! Please deal with the issues only and if you like only the ‘local’ ones. At least you wouldn’t embarass yourself and will be somewhat relevant.

At a Hougang by-election rally, MP for Aljunied GRC Pritam Singh reminded the audience that the PAP have had its share of bad hats, namely Wee Toon Boon (corruption involving about $800,000 ), Phey Yew Kok (embezzlement of trade union funds), Teh Cheang Wan (bribes totalling $1 million), and Choo Wee Khiang (issuing false invoices). All clear examples of bad judgment in assessing human character.
“The problem is that the human being is unable yet to assess this thing called character,” Lee Kuan Yew said to Han Fook Kwang et al in “LKY: The Man And His Ideas”. He should know. This is how he once extolled the virtues of Teh Cheang Wan, his National Development Minister:
“If I am thinking of retirement, I am going to be his manager.” -Hansard, March 22,1985, praising his allegedly high business acumen;
“Where are you going to get another Teh Cheang Wan? It is a serious problem.” – ibid, on the difficulty of recruiting such a highly capable person.
And woe betide his trusted lieutenants when they embarrass him about his astute character calls. This was before “I stand corrected” was an acceptable escape clause. Some examples:
Tan Kia Gan, Minister for Home Affairs -
“I had to destroy him. I could not find enough evidence but it was quite clear, more than suspicion, that he wanted a percentage on aircraft to be bought by Malaysian Singapore Airlines.” - Hansard, March 22, 1985
Wee Toon Boon -
“It was with great sorrow that we had to prosecute Mr Wee Toon Boon. I had no choice. He was my friend.” – Hansard, February 23, 1977
Devan Nair -
“Devan Nair was an alcoholic. The cabinet discussed these developments at several meetings and decided that because of his alcoholism and his behavior which demeaned his office, either he had to resign before he was discharged from hospital and could resume his activities, or he had to be removed from office by Parliament.” – Hansard, June 29, 1988.
Khaw Boon Wan had better watch his words when saying things like “a party that had members being sacked” would find it difficult to run a country. Just think about it: if Wong Kan Seng, Raymond Lim or Mah Bow Tan had resigned of their own accord, would Khaw’s party have suffered the bruising blow at GE 2011? Moral of the story, clean up your own act, or the people will do it for you.

TCH, Chan Sun Sing, Tan Chuan Jin are all traitors and betrayer of NS men in Hougang. In fact 40% of those NS men in camp have no respect for these group of "ex-army chief". When war come, these white monkey has no power to galvanise local force. I suspect they will mobilise foreigners to attack our own men. Now that is another reason why flooding our land with immigrants have became LKY top priority to protect his Leegime.
