Which is why religious charities should not focus primarily on helping their own kind but the larger community. Vast majority of buddhist temples and churches help the poor of all religious denominations. The huay kuans also do not enquire about religion before extending aid. Same for the RCs and CCCs. I would be aghast if a local church withheld charity towards people simply because they weren't Christians.
