ISIS has a passport printing machine to make authentic-looking Syrian passports. Authorities worry the terrorists might use them to pose as refugees and infiltrate western nations.

A 17-page Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) intelligence report issued to U.S. law enforcement last week was leaked to ABC News.

It details how ISIS likely ended up with the passport printer after taking control of the city of Deir ez-Zour last summer, home to a passport office with "boxes of blank passports."

The news comes as thousands of Syrian refugees are making their way to Canada from refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.

Canadian authorities have also been told to be on alert after a report. A European investigation into four alleged ISIS supporters cited Toronto as a possible target.

Two Syrian nationals were arrested in Geneva on Friday and traces of explosives were found in their car. Police wouldn't say if the men were among the four under investigation.
