"Singapore's growth strategies are increasingly complex and involve multiple govenment agencies - so the 4G ministers have to work more closely together than ever before and rely on one andother's judgement."
- S. Iswaran, Minister for Communications and Information

Coming from a not-very-competent minister himself, it is certainly an indictment of the current crop of "leaders". Theresa May stepped up when her boss resigned. Is Brexit not a complex issue? Macron's Canada has no complext problems?

Our ministers have to be rotated in different ministries to learn the ropes - the fundamental problem is that "scholars" are dropped into high posts with no inkling of what happens at ground level. Iswaran himself is one product out of a system.

Different, SG agencies r adept to blocking each other's agenda, action n work for betterment of their own, such infighting occurs daily with many loose knots n expose a deep shitted cultural issue with hod being politically appointed by ministers been regularly challenged. So yes they r more complex but only because of their own undoing. The rot starts at the top.

How abt a pay cut of 69%, only after they are competent can they revert to their actual pay. Failing which they must be booted out.

How dare the Ah Neh dare to criticize our best of the best 4 G leaders ? He also got promoted because he is an Ah Neh ,not due to excellent performance, to show multi-racial Cabinet. John call the ISD to investigate and twist his nipples .

4D leeders lah, every draw strike 1st prize 4D until no more ministar job then land on agency or bank job still every week strike 4D.

All the PAP ministers notwithstanding their glittering resumes and stellar careers in the army or police force are basically all YES men with no individuality, initiative, soul or conviction in them except to sing the same tune and to watch their own political backsides. Enough said of 4G! If they were to contest in single ward constituencies on a level playing field, many of them if not all, would not be in Parliament as MPs, let alone ministers with high-sounding titles and high salaries to boot! Singapore tak boleh!
