i know u said floorstanders, but i've used this for bookshelves. you can use the drivers to diy and make your own.

Resistance... need to match speakers' to amps'.. to reduce heat issue.

SPL 88db 2.83v/1m refers to the sensitivity or "efficiency" of the speaker. http://www.acoustics.salford.ac.uk/acoustics_info/loudspeakers/

frequency response refers to the theoretical range of frequencies the speaker can reproduce, in this case from 60hz to 20,000hz. humans are able to hear from 20hz to 20,000hz.

if close, a bigger bookshelf speaker will work better...............

also, what amp you using ? and what speakers you have now ?


2nd hand harder to recommend since older speakers will be cheaper..............

better for you to tell me your choices and i'll eliminate the poor choices.............
