why the 7m populatiom? Sg has lots of reserves from the population's pension funds, tax revenues, gst, erp, coe, hdb, pub blah blah. But the cabinet pay themselves millions. And most MPs have multiple directorships, owning what companies? Developers, construction, F&B? Of course as bizmen they desire to rip profits out of the need to build infrastructures coming from govt coffers, who else builds poblic infrastructures? And from the population, they tax persistently to replenish the reserves. Sg has a latent economy, there's no money to be made except by squeezing a working population working for investors who make money from overseas, or from govt projects. We are self sucking, like lifting your tits and sucking it!!! Whoever ousted Sg's manufacturing is closing a most viable option as a global supply chain hub.
