some temples are organising voluteer cleaning and painting there which greatly surprised me cos my pal's immobile mum was put there with hefty monthly charges of at least S$2,500. it could be more at times when she fell ill and needed extra medication and attention.

anyone with aged and debilitated parents or friends residing there? share your views here.

a further check with my pal revealed that her mum was a malaysian. that's even more weird cos our own holy cow had encouraged sgpreans to put their bedridden parents in jb where it suppose to be cheaper and yet we ve jbians lodging in our very expensive pte nursing home.

strange!

he's upgraded to be sgprean now earning about 10K+ a mth. with his family and kids added to the expenses, he's lamenting money still not enough.
