It is obvious now that the CEO implemented the train frequency during peak hours without
thinking. The frequency was arbitrary reduced without studying the easily available data
of the ideal number of passengers during the peak hours, with the social distancing figures
in mind and then calculate backwards.

Instead, we ended up crowded trains, forcing commuters to break the distancing laws.

What did he do, after the complaints appeared in the papers? NOTHING.

We know because Malaysian Cow Minister was quoted in the papers as saying that he "had INSTRUCTED
LTA to increase frequency of the trains".

There are limited number of trains.
Plus the lines can only power a limited amount of trains frequency restricted by the design of the power system.

Don't think this was the issue. The "increased" frequency is vis-a-viz the reduced load, not even near the
previous high frequency. The issue is that the manner of the implementation reflects the low quality of the
planning and the thinking - it sounds more like a couple of guys round a morning tea break meeting and
coming out without any serious data in front of them to come to a decision.

I think got challenger. The one collect eggs and meat at airport one.

Cost is what PAP is worried about. All other reasons are simply excuses. PAP is well known locally and internationally for being greedy, arrogant and uncompassionate.

Small space Josephine will dispute this. Last press conference, she said costs were the last thing on her mind.

Cut her salary and see whether she will tell you money is the last thing on her mind.

Chairman is former SPH CEO.
MP Murali on the board - but not sure whether he is on board on this topic.
