Is Law Society still around? No sound on all recent law incidents

There have been quite a few matters of public interest on the law as reported in the media, most of which have been clarified by the AGC's office. Although some individual lawyers have been quoted for their views on some of these matters, in their personal capacity as a lawyer. It would have been good if the Law Society has come out to support the AGC.
