An eureka moment came into me just now. Why is the PAP saying that GY is indispensable, if GY is voted out than the standing of Singapore will be not there among the other countries and blah.. blah... blah

Is the gahment so COCK-UP that there is only one GY? What happen if he die next week(I am not cursing him as I like him, but just a hypotectical question), will Singapore standing in the world will collaspe as there is not GY?

If the PAP does not have a contigency paln to replace all the key appointment holders, then they are EPIC FAILURE mode.
They deserve to be boot out.

From babachai to bibikseah-- you are one fierce bibik

I agreed with the PAP that Foreign Minister is a very important portfolio of government. I have a suggestion here ... In the event that George and his moribund bunch are voted out, they should seriously consider appointing Low Thia Khiang to be the foreign minister. This will definitely strengthen the bi-partisan political groups in Singapore (must as the United States having a Democratic Party's President Obama and a Republican Defense Secretary Robert Gate)! Sylvia Lim can also takeover Lim Hwee Hua portfolio! It's the best win-win solution!

In the UK no one said David Cameron was indispensible when other candidates ran against him.

In the Westminster model, with which we bear some resemblance, this woulc be a coalition government and would only happen when no party manages to get more than 50% of the seats in parliament. This is highly unlikely. And, apology or not, the PAPzis are not capable of cooperating when they don't have to.
