Iran's president Ahmadinejad, who is currently in Beijing for the SCO summit, paid a visit to Peking University to give a talk to
students. He said he looks forward to more intellectual exchanges between China and the Islamic Republic. CCTV reporter, Ai Yang,
went to Peking University to find out more.

He said, "Iran and China have been good friends and partners throughout thousands of years of our shared history. Our
intellectual exchanges have deepened over this time. We look forward to expanding Chinese studies in Tehran in the future."

China has surpassed the EU, becoming Iran’s largest trade partner in 2010. Bilateral ties were further strengthened the next
year when the two sides signed several agreements on infrastructure and trade cooperation.
