Ustaz Dr. Noorazman Samsudin and Professor Dr Mustafa Ali Mohd in Malaysia urge Malaysians who want to perform Hajj to postpone it for the sake of their physical safety in view of vaccination requirements.
In Singapore, Days after Bill Gates came to Singapore, MOH announced new vaccine requirements for Pilgrims going to Hajj.
He stressed that leaders know the risks, including serious side effects and even death, but feel forced to comply.
From a religious view, he said if there’s a threat to life, then Hajj is no longer wajib (Obligatory). Islam prioritises health and life.
He urged religious authorities to relook the ruling, and that people should have the freedom to choose — whether to go this year or delay.
Bottom line: Don’t force it if it risks lives.

According to the Saudi Arabia website, Covid 19 vaccination is only mandatory for certain categories of people going for the Haj. For those that don’t come under those categories, the Covid 19 vaccination is only recommended and not mandatory.

However, our MOH states that all Haj pilgrims from Singapore MUST take the Covid 19 shots. They conveniently left out the bit that the requirement is ONLY for certain categories. This is troubling because those above 12yo and healthy are not required to jab but MOH is making it mandatory nevertheless
