The flagship iPhone 5S will feature improved performance, a better camera and a fingerprint security scanner whilst the iPhone 5C will use a plastic body and many of the internals of the existing iPhone 5.
Both will feature the new operating system, iOS7, that Apple hopes will update its software to compete with newer versions from Google and Microsoft.
The iPhone 5S will sell from £549, while the 5C will officially retail for £469, just £80 less.
Apple has announced that both will go on sale in the UK on Friday, September 20. Customers can pre-order the iPhone 5C from Friday, September 13, but Apple is not accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5S.
