Has anyone thought about buying SA Rand ? Apparently the deposit rate is one of the highest, if not, the highest in the world at the moment. Last year was about 7%, but at the moment it's going at 4.75%.

Thinks its better to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket who knows which country is going to get into trouble. Even Spore might be in trouble

Not that difficult to find better returns than POSB I was passing by a Citibank branch & saw a sign advertising a 3 to 4% on fixed deposites in Aussie dollars.
