Apple has abandoned Intel chips for Macs and will only use ARM chips.

Intel and x86 will go the way of the dinosaur eventually.

It really depends in the guy in charge. The guy who put intel on top was andrew grove.after tgat, it was downhill all the way.
So if you put the right guy in charge, intel may return.
