They should have used the "medina charter" as a guide to resolve ethnic differences. This charter was written during Mohamed' s period when he was alive. The only one officially recorded as far as I know.

Hindus are different. They came in peace. Chinese brought communist terrorism to south east asia. And the capitalist Chinese plundered the resources and did not give much back to the communities where it was taken from. Some did not even bother paying taxes as the trading was done in tax havens like Singapore or hong kong and profits kept there.

The Hindu culture was in malaya and indonesia from the beginning. Whether they came in peace or not, it's for historical records to show.
