Indian FTrash Du Lan No Photography in Northpoint

As we were leaving the mall, I decided to snap some photos of my family. A security officer came over and told me I was not allowed to take photos. When I asked him why, he told me to go to Basement 2 and seek permission there before I could take photos.
Northpoint is a shopping centre that thousands of people visit. Just imagine if everyone who wants to take a photo has to seek permission first.
If the mall has a 'no photo-taking' policy, it should be clearly stated.
Our day was spoilt as a result. I e-mailed Frasers Centrepoint Malls about this a week ago but have yet to receive a reply.

When somebody tells not to do something, they get agitated and cannot tolerate it. They complain to the management, to the police and even to Lee Kwan Yew..!! This guy says "our day was spoiled ". What is there to spoil. If you are humble and modest, just go to the basement and take permission and go ahead with taking photographs. Their arrogant attitude doesnot allow them to obey rules. They feel it is insulting to obey orders from securitymen. They must learn to observe and obey the laws of singapore. Sometimes we have to pray a price for allowing foreigners to come here.

SIMPLE simon..."put your hand in the air"...tell the security to look in the view finder, tell him to take the photos, tell him, they want to have a group picture with him...and then send the photo to FRASERS & inform them of the no photos policy of theirs...and you can eat your cake...

I don't see anything wrong with a foreigner questioning the security guard for not allowing him to take family photos when this is a common thing especially if there are no signs disallowing it.

Makapaa's stupidity is why the PAP do not value singaporeans.
