Many of my schoolmates were not deprived as they saw action from the church activities. I didn't realise until too late that Church was a great place to network & socialise with the opposite sex.

I notice that those going to church were better with the people skills because of the social skills they picked up. I think the problem still exists today where kids spend too much time in the class room & not enough time socialising at parties. Even as adults they are too busy working. While working in Canada it was common to have house warming parties at a colleagues place or going out as a group to just enjoy.
