SEREMBAN, Malaysia - China Press reported that a grocery store owner in Seremban found a sanitary pad inside a packet of 1kg cooking oil.

The man said he bought a batch of cooking oil stock two months ago from a distributor.

He said a female customer took the packet and went to the cashier's counter without realising that there was a foreign object inside.

Upon seeing the pad inside, the owner immediately gave the customer another packet and subsequently complained to the distributor.

He claimed that the distributor wanted to compensate him with five boxes of oil as "hush money".

He rejected the offer and lodged a report with the Negri Sembilan Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs office.

Report got say kotax is used one meh? :D

Quite obvious since the distributor knew about it and immediately tried to cover up.

It is a malay bomoh trick to add used kotax to get customers hooked for return business. It's said to be used in satay gravy in the old satay club

This is quite common in countries like Indonesia and Malaysia.. Last year when I went to Jakarta, I wanted to try this gado gado at one of the road side stalls there.. But my late father in law's business partner who is a Jakarta native stopped me from ordering the food.. He told me that there are rumours of the stall owner putting a used undie inside the pot of the gado gado gravy.. They used this underhand methods seeking help from the shamans.. The Indonesians believed that this used undie that had already been chanted with magic verses can make the food extra delicious to the customers and these customers in turn will keep on coming back to the stall for more..
