Since mid October 2021, there have been several serious cases of COVID-19 infection in children, with some requiring intensive care. Therefore, it is important for children aged 5 to 11 to take up the COVID-19 vaccination to protect themselves and their loved ones. The vaccination for children has been assessed by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and the Expert Committee on COVID-19 Vaccination (EC19V) to be safe. All designated paedaetric vaccination centres are also equipped with personnel trained in paedaetric care and paedaetric monitoring equipment. Senior Minister of State for Health Janil Puthucheary was speaking in Parliament on 10 January 2022.

KNN, I was browsing through the MOH publication on the breakdown of figures, from the month of September 2021 until they stopped issuing the breakdown on 6/7 December 2021, there’s only ONE child (between 5-11) registered in ICU, specifically between 2 November 2021 to 8 November 2021.

Put2cherry, please SUBSTANTIATE. Is it 7 different kiddos each staying one night in ICU or 1 kiddo staying for 7 nights? How many different children were in the ICU between Sep-Dec2021?
