The personal information of more than 800,000 blood donors which was put online improperly for over two months was accessed illegally and possibly stolen, a Health Sciences Authority (HSA) vendor responsible for the mistake said on Saturday (March 30)

This information included the names, NRIC numbers, gender and number of donations of people who have donated or registered to donate blood in Singapore since 1986.

Why is this data even being kept/tracked in the first place by HSA???

If it stretches back to 1986 my name and NRIC would be in the database too.

If you sue the government or its affiliates, you always lose. Do you have that much money to lose in legal fees?

...a Health Sciences Authority (HSA) vendor...

A fine example of meritocracy, when govt contracts are given to cronies or the cheapest vendors.

i was a pioneer in organ donating even before it became a law

but authorities today says no such record exist...guess ,they keep what matters to them only
