![]() SINGAPORE - The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has cautioned SingPass users of a fake website, apparently set up to collect usernames and passwords. In a Facebook post on Saturday, IDA wrote: "Dear all, we want to alert all #SingPass users that there is a website called http://www.singapass.sg, which requires users to enter their username and password." "Please note that this is NOT the SingPass website. The official SingPass website is http://www.singpass.gov.sg," the post read. SingPass users had faced problems getting one-time passwords to log in after initial teething issues brought about by "heavy traffic" to the new authentication system were resolved on Monday (July 6). The enhanced SingPass was rolled out on July 5 to better protect about 200 e-services - such as those dealing with personal, financial or health data - from 70 government agencies. ![]() |
