"I was sexually harassed by wedding emcee"

STOMPer Victim, a newlywed, says she was sexually harassed by her wedding emcee, who took her to Sentosa and tried to squeeze her hand and hug her. He also sent her an sms inviting her to a rendezvous in Johor Bahru, asking her to spend the night with him if she wished.

This harrowing experience traumatised her so much that she has decided, with her friends' encouragement, to put her story forth on STOMP, in the hope that there will not be a next victim. She says:

"One month after my wedding, I passed my wedding emcee's contact to a friend who was looking for one, as the feedback from my guests had been positive.

"This is how my nightmare began.

"He asked me out for dinner soon after, and I naively thought it was to thank me for my recommendation. I was also under the assumption that his boss would be present.

"However, he turned up alone and took me out. After the meal, he cooked up an excuse saying he needed to look up a friend at Sentosa before he could send me home.

"I went along with that, but when we reached Sentosa, he stopped his car at a secluded spot and told me to leave my belongings in the car and get off.

"We walked towards the beach. There was no friend in sight.

"All of a sudden, he held my hand and I shook him off, but he insisted.

"This time, I let him hold my hand because I panicked and didn't want to anger him. But he must have taken it as a sign of encouragement, because he started squeezing and massaging my hand in a teasing manner, and even hugged me!

"This was too much and I pushed him away. He finally relented and drove me home.

"But this is not all.

"A week later, he struck again. He sent me an sms.

"His sms read, 'how's ur day dear? was wonderin if u wanna go jb w me nxt fri. mayb can stay out if u can.'

"Inviting me to head to Johor Bahru with him, does he take me for a prostitute?

"I felt so angry and insulted that I called him, intending to tell him off. This was when he admitted his interest in me.

"That was the last straw. I finally told my husband about the whole incident and he blew his top, reaching for the phone immediately to give him a piece of his mind.

"Unfortunately, the emcee, being eloquent, brushed it off and insisted we had only gone for coffee.

"We can't prove his actions so I decided to share this story with as many people as I can. Hopefully this can prevent another woman from becoming the next victim."

Amidst the furore over STOMPer Victim's post on STOMP, a wide range of comments have been seen and heard. The distressed STOMPer has decided to elaborate on her side of the story.

Here is what she has to say:

"My husband knew that I went for dinner with him, and we didn't take any precaution because we thought it was just a normal business dinner.

"My husband trusts me and has confidence in me, because I am quite a homely lady.

"Also, I am a married woman, recently married. My husband and I never expected him to treat a married woman this way.

"If I were a single lady, or I got to know that emcee somewhere like in a pub or disco, I wouldn't be so angry.

"I would only blame myself for being stupid and I wouldn't disclose this to anyone.

"However, he was my wedding emcee, he knows who my husband is and we paid good money for his hosting. Did he respect my husband?

"Somemore, we have just been married less than two months. Obviously, he knows that if anything happens to me, I might not dare to voice up to my husband or make a police report because new brides are scared of destroying their own happiness.

"Hence, he purposely disturbed new brides like me.

"He is very ugly, I hope I can post his photo and state his name, but I'm worried about legal issues.

"I did make a police report, but the police didn't take any action, I think there's not enough proof.

"Also, if I really want to lie, I could've told the police that he touched my private parts, but I didn't. I only reported to what really happened.

"As for my husband, he regretted not attending the dinner with me.

"When we called the emcee, he spoke in a very arrogant tone to my husband, saying things like 'what, I just had coffee with her, it's nothing, we didn't go anywhere.'

"He should learn how to respect another woman's husband."

The moral of the story ? If you want to impress a charbo, don't say you want to invite her to JB. Yes, the charbo will think you're one of the 48s.

The episode would have turned out very differently if he had invited her to visit Monaco or Tasmania together.

Fuck bro... You are the first dude i know who can put monaco and tasmania together in the same sentence, in the same context.

Go monaco, fuck beautiful women and live in classy hotels, eat at classy restaurants.

Go tasmania, fuck sheep and dolphins. And cook and eat them afterwards.

Yes! I saw the DATE! But it never say, DO NOT REPLY!!!:oIo:

Nahbeh, this type of story shows that the girl is also to be blamed.

Why accepted the date to dinner? Why accepted the drive to Sentosa?

The girl was giving hints. If you are married, you should NOT DO SUCH THINGS!!!!

You're giving the wrong signals and you are leading the man...I don't blame the man! The newly wed is co-responsible for this so called " sexual harassment"!!!.

Don't always blame the man! Woman can be vicious! They can be flirtatious and they can lead you to drink water just when you think you are about to pee!!!!!!!!hahahaaa!!!

Nahbeh! Lamparbeh! Kana infracted for nothinging! shit lah!!! if keep on infarting people, this forum will be dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wheres the sexual harassment part? touching and squeezing hands aint sexual harassment...Jack thinks theres more to this story than the lady lets on
