Never doubt for a moment that such a thought had not cross the COMMUNISTS - whom had LONG shown the middle finger to Humanity's Democracy, progress and evolution - PrezPutin and PrezXi's minds.

The Reality is that if RUS and PRC start seizing ships, it would be the END of International Trade, and WILL COME WITH CONSEQUENCES from 7 Billion Humankind.
USA is a self sufficient resource rich Nation. It needs not trade with anyone, but being productive and innovative, they have excess that can be sold to help other Nations that are not as resource rich as them.
However, RUS and PRC are NOT resource rich and WILL need SUPPLIES from our World. They are no longer living in jungles or caves, but in solid built homes, cars, electricity, handphones, chips, tech, etc, etc.
Should such be cut off - as tit for tat actions will only allow other Nations to do the same - then the consequences will be total collapse of RUS and PRC. with no revenue, factories shut down, works unemployed, loans unpaid, social welfare such as education, medcare, infrastructure down, soldiers upaid, etc, etc.....
International cargo and shipping lines will CEASE and cut off all means of transportation, as stakeholders and investors will see no profit in trade as such can be seized by anyone, as most of the time, cargoes are of INTERNATIONAL ORIGINS AND NOT JUST FROM ONE COUNTRY ALONE, in order to MAXIMISE efficiency and productivity...any cargo aircraft or ship will be seized at even International ports by everyone on ANY side of support....
So far, USA had only seized fuel vessels that support the genocide of the Ukrainians thru trade, in a long war started by the communist RUS that was supposed to last 3mths. To support RUS trade and necessities for its war in UKR would only prolong the war. Other RUS cargoes were not seized.
Thus if Communist RUS and PRC start seizing vessels, then WHAT vessels does it intend to seize? - normal trading vessels of 7 Billion Humankind to progress, prosper and evolve? And for what? for the Communists to rule our World, when communism had been proven to be a failed ideology that only created dictators and never the uplifting of Humans, except for their bootlickers?
Therefore, may the leaders of communist RUS and PRC think carefully on the CONSEQUENCES of WHAT HUMANKIND WILL DO TO THEM should they start seizing International trade vessels......
