A PREGNANT woman from China miraculously survived a 10-storey fall off a cliff in Thailand, reported China Press.


However, what was initially believed to have been an accident has been classified as attempted murder.
The police have arrested her husband Yu Xiaodong, 33, after the woman identified as Wang Nan told them of what he had done.

The couple from China’s Jiangsu province was visiting the Pha Taem National Park.
Wang, 32, claimed her husband lured her away to a quieter spot to look at cliff murals.
Wang claimed her husband suddenly pushed her off the cliff while they were kissing.
Wang fell some 34m off the cliff but her fall was broken by trees.
She suffered fractures in her left thigh, left arm, left collar, hip bone and knees and her three-month-old foetus survived.
A drama unfolded in the hospital when she was heard yelling: “Why did you do this to me? Why did you push me?”
Police said that Yu was jobless and had a debt-ridden family. The wife was well-to-do but was not willing to fully clear his debts.
