Where Bears Roam Free: Hypocrisy of the 'Marxist Conspirators' and their supporters

So is it really about unfair detention without trial, or is it about themselves? -

Now if the issue is about unfair detention, then surely this hypocritical hyped up marking of the 25th Anniversary of the ISA detainees is missing the real deal. The JI detainees are currently under detention. The 1987 detainees are now free. Yet, we are remembering the ones who have been freed but ignore the ones still under detention without trial? Helloooo? Something is not right here, surely!

On the other hand, if they say that these JI detainees are terrorists and hence, deserve to be detained, then they have shot themselves in the foot. That's because in 1987 the Commie threat was still in existence. And there were indications that they were trying to link up with the Communist Terrorists in the North. I wrote about that here - 25th Anniversary of 1987 ISA Arrests - so are they CPM sympathizers?

Still yet on the other hand, (that is if they have a 3rd hand, and why not, knowing that they have been very good with the sleight of the hand), if they were to say that the JI terrorists should be dealt under a different law, that is one that deals on terror and not the ISA itself, then this shows their hypocrisy even further. Were not these 1987 detainees locked up for (communist) terror links, just like the current JI detainees are also locked up for (Al Qaida) terror links?

So what is the difference between the 1987 detainees and the current JI detainees, such that we must remember the anniversary of the former group, yet ignore that there is another group that is currently detained without trial?

Conclusion -

There's too much attention grabbing sympathy from the "Marxist Conspirators" and their supporters. If it truly is about the removal of the ISA, why are they so silent on the JI detainees, who are now suffering the same way these ex-detainees suffered 25 years ago?

Isn't their agenda really something else other than the removal of the ISA itself? Is it grabbing attention to draw sympathy from the crowd? Or is it that they are trying to revive the Leftist agenda?

Whatever it is, they are hiding a whole load of facts from the public.

Actually, the Maruah and Function 8 event last Saturday did refer to the Islamic 'terrorists' detained under the ISA. Martyn See, in particular, said he had written to the ISA for permission to visit these detainees but had received no reply.

And the event called for the abolition of the ISA, not the abolition of the ISA for what the 24 did in 1987/88. They also called for specific anti-terrorism legislation to deal with what the authorities perceive to be terrorism, not an unlimited wielding of executive power that is the ISA.
