Saw on Hyflux announcement on issuing perpetual capital securities in SGX.
Not sure if it is for retail or institutional.

Ah Run, what do you think?.
If retail, can buy?.

My thoughts is if at par, can buy some for yields at 5.75 though.

Good brother,

They are all in the secondary market:
Hyflux 5.75% is trading at 102+, excluding accrued interests
Hyflux 4.8% is trading at appx 100, excluding accrued interests

Hyflux 6% is in the SGX primary market, appx 107, including accrued interests

Overall, you are getting about net yield of appx 4.5-4.8% for all of the above mentioned after deducting for the price premiums and/or commissions

Note: all of the above mentioned are of different maturities. All three were also briefly-mentioned in a bond thread in SBF, earlier.

Ah Run, thanks for the information. No access to secondary market kan tao.
Anyway, at 250k a lot, can't afford.

4.5% to 4.8% still decent in my opinion.
Better than most, if not, all FD. (Sing dollar)
