JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A local BBQ shop was robbed Tuesday night when a thief fell through the ceiling.
E&L BBQ is located on Bailey Avenue in Jackson. According to their Facebook page, the robbery happened around midnight.
E & L Barbeque
The BBQ shop is calling the robber an "amateur" after he fell through the ceiling and made himself steak sandwiches.
According to the post, he fell through the ceiling in several places, then crawled around on the floor and cooked himself dinner.
The shop says he tried to break the security monitor but was not successful in destroying evidence.
If anyone recognizes this man, please call Jackson police.
The sales manager says he did not get away with any money and wasn't even able to get his to-go bag of sandwiches back up through the ceiling.
The only thing the store lost was money for damaged ceilings and food waste.
