Not sure about the elderly but I opine the younger generation doesnt bother about one's race when electing their MP. It is time to review the GRC idea.
Between Pritam Singh and a Chinese from PAP, it's Pritam for me.
it's GMS's moment of glory when he brought this point up about Michael Palmer in that TV talkshow...
GMS will want to have a say in GE2016.
i don't mind voting GMS as an opposition over any MIW candidate.
By saying if no GRC may mean no minorities get in -HK is effectively saying he is elected purely on the race card- not on his merits.
That makes him no better than an NMP-he went in because he was nominated to ride on the coattails of the majority candidate.
Another example where the pappy's meritocracy sounds hollow and is in fact an insult on the ability of our minorities to get to Parliament on their own.
I would have voted for JBJ over LHL anytime.
Between Pritam Singh and a Chinese from PAP, it's Pritam for me.
Correct. JBJ got elected in Anson due to his political charisma, not his race. People saw him as someone able and willing to stand up for the people to question the pappies. He proved it in Parliament.
Wish there were more JBJs in sinkie land.
