Birth and death is part of life. No human being or other living thing is Immortal.

Everyone has to leave these worldly existence at some time or other.

Some people choose to bury their dead, some cremate the dead and some, like the Parsis prefer to hang the cadaver (dead body) overturned atop a well and wait for the vultures to consume it and then the bones will drop into the well.

Some prefer to embalm the bodies and live it on public display. However, these only refers to the "Great Leaders".

Some dead people have roads, buildings, public parks and settlements named in honour after them. This has even happened to certain people when they are still alive and kicking.

Some of those that expired also had their faces on the currency notes - like Mao, Gandhi and at one time a Living "Emperor" Suharto.

Now all Singaporeans are waiting for the coming demise of LKY for he is ageing fast and loosing his mobility. This is something inevitable.

The question is how will LKY be attended after he is gone. Will it be a Big Event?

Will there be public display of grief like open wailing and beating of chest, etc..?

Forummers please give your views, for this is an event that is COMING SOON to you.

It will be a great occasion to celebrate. No need to wait for funeral. The moment announcement is made can immediately drop whatever you are doing and go out on the streets to dance with joy. Like these Libyans on hearing about Gaddafi's death.

Allahu Akbar!

I hope Singaporeans will be more concerned with present day issues than dewleve in the past. He's done what he's done. There is already a school named after him. He will be remembered as Emperor of Peesai. Life goes on.

Cheers!

The PAP will make a show of LKY's death.

But when time passes, LKY, like any mortal man, will be forgotten

We all will celebrate first and celebrate again and celebrate once more.
Then all the worms will depart from LKY rotting corpse and we will find out how much he stole from all of us.

From those findings, LKY will be truly remembered in a style befitting to him.

When he kicks the bucket, I will play upbeat music and celebrate life.
