They don't care about profits anymore. You should read some of the WEF literature or listen to their speeches.

Their goal is to reduce the number of useless eaters on the planet, then managing the remnants with SkyNet, Hunger Games style.

If you have to ask this, then unfortunately you are one of the useless eaters to them too.

I bought a house in Japan for less than $45,000. I live in the peaceful countryside close to every convenience, and everything's cheaper here.​

Why are there so many cheap, empty houses in Japan?​

Many of theses houses have been left for different reasons, though the catalyst is often the death of the original owner. Sometimes an heir refuses to accept the home that their families left behind. Others do not name an inheritor, or relatives who have been passed the home don’t need it but don’t want to sell family land out of respect.

In any situation, the result is often the same: an empty house left to sit and deteriorate. “These properties are becoming increasingly common due to factors such as urbanization, aging populations, and changing family structures,” Matsuo Post adds.
