Not all IKEA furniture's are good but surprisinglee the 2 chest of drawers are verlee solid lasting heavy wood.

IKEA furnitures are easy to assemble. You just need to follow the manual & organize the parts properly, identified befote assembly.

However, if at a loss, the company do have workers to assemble for you at prices ranging from $50 to $150, depending on complexity of furnoture.

You can compare those prices with online search, as there are independent handyman for hire.

Just get rid of the useless, old looking parts, and use whatever parts no matter how feeble, non-lasting you are left with (just because they look to be younger).

Buy proper furniture which already comes 'pre-assembled'.

Stop giving your money to those Scandinavian cucks, support your local furniture shops.

that depends on who wrote the manual

I love your idea! I‘ll go get help now.

Most neighbors are kind hearted & will help, but they are no handyman, thus be prepared that the assembly effort may turn oit to be material worthy of a Mr Bean episode, eg - Mr Bean"s dental appointment

It's not the wood that is heavy. It's the glue in the chip board, or they like to call it particle wood.

Plywood is light.

Very disappointing, nowadays even Courts expects us to do our own assembly sometimes. I suggest that we only buy from those shops which assemble and deliver.

Only a few bolts and nuts, how can it be so difficult? No choice but you must go through the manual or pay for them to come and install, which will then be not worth it anymore.
