The pervasive nature of the S'porean education system makes it almost impossible to remove this national indoctrination within our citizens. The majority are perfectly domesticated and compliant. The extremely high cost of living ensure that our concerns do not extend beyond paying the bills. This deference in the govt's competence, is unsettling as it reminds us of the Orwellian idea of total control by the state. The govt's present state of self-check and balance means that they enjoy unchecked power which could be disastrous for the people.
