Hotel licensee of Fragrance Hotel-Kovan charged

A HOTEL licensee was charged in court on Tuesday with failing to require two guests to furnish their particulars.
Sim Mong Yeow, 58, licensee of Fragrance Hotel-Kovan, allegedly failed to get one Quang Thi Ha Uyen to give particulars required under the Hotels Licensing Regulations at the Upper Serangoon Road premises at about 3.23pm on May 19.
A second similar charge is in relation to another guest, Ms Daisy Del Monte Pillas, at 1.44pm that day.
Sim, represented by Mr Sanjiv Rajan, is executive director of Fragrance Group.
If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $1,000 on each charge.
In addition to any other penalty imposed, the court may cancel or suspend any certificate of registration and may cancel any licence granted.
Sim will be back in court on Aug 23.
