Breaking News:- A man has taken a female security staff hostage at the underground
subway at Beijing.

Negotiation has been going on since 9 PM last night. Despite the protruded negotiation, the
hostage-taker increasingly became more unstable and agitated.

Fearing for the life of the female hostage, police took drastic action early this morning. Police
fired three lethal shots at the hostage-taker killing him on the spot.

Investigation is ongoing.

Latest Video Update:- A well-dressed man held a female security staff hostage with knife at the underground
Hujialou subway at Beijing.

Negotiation has been going on since 8.30 PM last night. Despite the protruded negotiation, the hostage-taker
increasingly became more unstable and agitated.

Fearing for the life of the female hostage, police took drastic action early this morning by deploying their elite SWAT
unit where a SWAT sniper fired three lethal shots at the hostage-taker killing him on the spot.

The female hostage was released unharmed and evacuated to hospital for medical examination.

The reason for the hostage taking is not clear and police Investigation is ongoing.
