69 miles away from doha. apparently qatar and usa were tipped off before the missile strike by iran. it’s considered a de-escalation strike meant to appease hardliners in iran but also planned with minimal impact and damage. restrained “revenge” response like a slap on the wrist to “punish”, save face and signal an end to hostilities. in simpler terms, wayang. huat ah!
