Hong Kong YouTuber Kenny Chan was arrested on Wednesday (Dec 3) after taking smiling selfies with a victory gesture at the Tai Po fire scene and posting content saying the victims carried "deep sins" and describing the blaze as "karma".

Police said the 26-year-old, who runs the channel "Kowloon King", was detained by the National Security Department for allegedly publishing seditious

statements - an offence that carries up to seven years' jail in Hong Kong.
