KUALA LUMPUR - The home of Datuk Seri Ahmad Farid Ridzuan's relative in Bukit Antarabangsa here was broken into.
This comes after the homes of Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and former assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Yatim's widow Datin Zabariah Abdul Majid were hit earlier this month.
Ahmad Farid is currently an adviser in the Prime Minister's Office.
Ampang Jaya deputy OCPD Supt Nazri Zawawi said a 20-year-old student who came home to the apartment unit at Bukit Antarabangsa around 7.15pm on Friday alerted the police about the break-in.
"We believe the suspects broke into the house through the back door of the home," he said, adding that several laptops, handbags and watches were missing.
Khairy's home along Jalan Setiabistari was hit on July 1 after three men scaled the wall of the bungalow at about 5.30pm before breaking in through the front door.
The robbers took off with laptops and watches, among other items.
On July 8, three armed men broke into the house of Datin Zaleha @ Zabariah Abdul Majid and tied her up. The 67-year-old was then locked in the bathroom before the robbers escaped with a Toyota Vios, cash and other valuables from the house in Kg Eyor, Johol.
